
Dr. Bernard Harris
Board certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Dr. Harris began his medical career in 1965 after receiving his Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He then went on to complete a Major Medical Internship at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, New York in 1966. He completed a year of Surgical Residency at Montefiore in 1967. He then went to Washington University-Barnes Hospital, where he completed a year of fellowship and 3 years of residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery in 1971. He then spent 2 years in the Air Force at Scott Air Force Base, Belleville, Illinois, where he was chief of Otolaryngology. He then came to Miami, Florida in 1973 where he has been in the private practice until the present.
Dr Harris is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He holds professional memberships with the following associations:
- American College of Surgeons
- The Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery
- The Greater Miami ENT Society (Past President)
Dr. Harris has hospital privileges at Baptist Hospital and limits his practice to Office Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surge
