Felipe J. Martinez, M.D. , F.A.C.S.

Dr. Felipe J. Martinez's love for math and science opened the doors for his career in Medicine. Fleeing Cuba in 1962 he found it difficult to learn a new language. Luckily, the rules of equations and biology translated. He attended Belen Jesuit Prep where he formed life-long friendships.

Martinez began his college career at the University of Miami, where he graduated Cum Laude of his class. He then continued at the University of Miami's School of Medicine and completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1982.

Dr. Martinez's special interest include:

  • Nasal or sinus surgery
  • Allergy testing
  • Treating patients with dizziness or balance problems
  • Voice Disorders

Dr. Martinez holds professional memberships with the following associations:
