A native to South Florida, Dr. SHapiro received a Masters of Science degree in 1988 from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She completed her fellowship in the Veteran's Administration hospital in St. Petersburg and Tampa, Florida. In 2003, Dr. Shapiro completed her doctoral degree with honors from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Shapiro specializes in hearing and balance disorders as well as the fitting of amplification for all ages. She has been affiliated with South Florida ENT Associates, P.A. since its inception. Dr. Shapiro is a certified Audiologist who is a member of the American Speach and Hearing Associateion (ASHA), Florida Academy of Audiology, Florida Association of Speach-Language Pathologists and Auidiologists and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
