A native of Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Jaguan began his medical career in 1984 after obtaining his medical degree from Central University of Venezuela, Caracas. He then completed his pre-graduate internship which consists of various specialties such as Surgery & Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Rural Medicine. Dr. Jaguan then completed his post-graduate internship in 1986. He then spent a year training in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. He was a Rural Physician at the Hospital Ediguio Montesino in El Tocuyo - Estado Lara where he instructed pre-graduate Interns on Rural Medicine.
After completing his internship, Dr. Jaguan completed a three year residency program in Pediatrics & Periculture. Subsequently, he completed a three year residency program in Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology. Dr. Jaguan then traveled to the United States where he completed an additional year of internship in General Surgery at the University of Minnesota as well as an additional four year residency in Otolaryngology.
Dr. Jaguan is Board certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Suregry since 2004 and holds several professional memberships, which are:
