The Professional Voice Institute
Dr. Weissman founded the Professional Voice Institute in 1992 to help singers, actors, news anchors and politicians overcome hoarseness and use correct vocal technique to prevent injury.
The Institute has South Florida's first comprehensive medical team dedicated to helping professional communicators protect and improve their voice. Using the latest technology (videostrobe, Speech-Easy voice imaging software) the trained staff helps people recover from vocal problems or improve their voice after overuse, injury, surgery, stroke or Parkinson's disease. The Institute also does swallowing studies to evaluate and treat swallowing disorders.
