Dr. Sheldon Cohen

Board Certified in Otolaryngology in 1973, Dr. Cohen received his Medical Degree from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, New York in 1967. After receiving his Medical Degree, he went on to complete an Internship at the Long Island Jewish Hospital and a four year residency in Otolaryngology at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.

Following his specialty training, Dr. Cohen entered military service as a Major in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps at the USAF Regional Hospital, Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama. He has been in the private practice of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Southeast Florida since his Honorable Discharge from military service in the summer of 1974.

Dr. Cohen is also affiliated with following organizations:

  • Greater Miami Society of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. President 1990; Vice President 1989; Secretary - Treasurer 1988
  • Baptist Hospital

Dr. Cohen has been a stockholder of South Florida ENT Associates, P.A. since its inception.
