Vivian H. Topp, B.S., M.Ed., CCC

Our Professional Voice Institute is South Florida’s first comprehensive medical team dedicated to helping professional singers, actors and the general public.

Ms. Topp completed her studies in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Georgia and the University of Miami. She is a pioneer in the provision of speech, language, voice and accent neutralization services to Hispanic individuals in the Greater Miami area. Her expertise includes working with swallowing disorders and stuttering problems and is a Certified Dispenser of the Speech Easy Device. Ms. Topp is the author of an accent reduction tape that is sold nationally.

Her professional experiences have included clinical supervision at:

  • University of Miami
  • Nova University
  • Dade County Public Schools and community hospitals
  • Speech Pathology services at Mercy Hospital (acting clinical supervisor)

Ms. Topp is an active participant in local and state professional associations:

  • Vice President of the Miami Association of Communication Specialist (MACS) in 1980
  • President of the Miami Association of Communication Specialist (MACS) in 1998 and 2002 – 2003
  • Vice President for Professional Practices in Speech Pathology for FLASHA
